Suspended BJP parliamentarian Kirti Azad on Monday once again refused to directly name finance minister Arun Jaitley in the Delhi and District Cricket Association (DDCA) controversy even as he remained defiant and made more charges of financial irregularities against the sporting body.
"Why are you taking the name of Arun Jaitley again and again? It's his birthday today. I am only talking about corruption in the DDCA," Azad told reporters at his official residence in New Delhi.
The defiant Lok Sabha MP from Bihar's Darbhanga was suspended from the BJP last week following his relentless attack on the DDCA, which coincided with the Aam Aadmi Party making similar accusations against Jaitley, who headed the DDCA for 13 years till 2013.
