Indian professor dismissed for sexually harassing Bangladeshi student

A professor of India’s Jawaharlal Nehru University has been removed from his job for sexually harassing a Bangladeshi student studying at the institution. Neither the teacher nor the student was named, reports Bengali. The Bangladeshi student was doing research under the supervision of the professor and brought allegations of sexual harassment against him a few days ago. The university authorities investigated the claims of the student and found the professor guilty. He was then sacked. Located in New Delhi, Jawaharlal Nehru University is one of the prominent institutions of higher education in India. Many Bangladeshi students are currently studying and doing research there.
