Rajshahi mosque attacker still unidentified
The attacker who carried out a suicide bomb attack at a mosque in a village in Rajshahi’s Bagmara upazila on Friday has not yet been identified by police.
But police have filed a case in this connection without naming anyone.
The case was lodged with Bagmara Police Station under the Explosives Act on Friday night, hours after the attack.
Officer-in-charge of the police station Matiar Rahman told thereport24.com inspector (investigation) Abul Kalam Azad had been assigned to probe the case.
“We are trying to identify the attacker. Also, we are trying to find others involved in the attack.
“We can know why the attack was made after we identify the attacker,” he added.
The attack was made at a mosque of the Qadiani community in Machmail Syedpur village after the Jumuah prayers.
