' Leicester Tigers move 'fantastic''

Former South Africa captain Jean de Villiers is already convinced he made a "fantastic" decision to join Leicester. The centre, who earned 109 international caps, has yet to play for Tigers after breaking his jaw during the pool stages of the 2015 World Cup. But, while he will not feature in the home Boxing Day game against Newcastle, De Villiers is almost ready to play and is still enjoying his new surroundings. "The club is a great organisation," the 34-year-old told BBC Radio Leicester. "But I have just been quite frustrated at not getting on the field yet." De Villiers initially turned down a move to Welford Road because he did not think it was the "right fit". However, after talking to a number of people with links to Tigers - including former Leicester and Springboks coach Heyneke Meyer - De Villiers changed his mind.

'Chelsea manager not certain to go, says Pat Nevin'

Speculation about Jose Mourinho's position as Chelsea manager is nothing new and will "ebb away", says former Blues winger Pat Nevin. Mourinho's future at the club is in question following discussions about his position among Blues directors. The Premier League champions' defeat at Leicester on Monday - their ninth loss in 16 league games - left them a point above the relegation places in 16th. Asked if Mourinho, 52, would be sacked, Nevin said: "I don't see it happening." The Scot, a regular pundit on Chelsea's television channel, was speaking on a special BBC Radio 5 live programme about Mourinho's future. Nevin, who played for the London club from 1983-1988, added: "I've been outside Stamford Bridge seven or eight times after games this season and the mood today is no different. "I would agree the manager's future has been in doubt for months, but that doesn't mean he will go. "It builds up and comes to a crescendo, but every time it then ebbs away." 'Chelsea boss feels work was 'betrayed' by players'

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho said he felt his "work was betrayed" in the Blues' defeat by Leicester in the Premier League. The defending champions suffered their ninth league defeat in 16 games with a 2-1 loss against the Foxes, who go top. It leaves the club in 16th position, just a point above the relegation zone.
